This weekend we're heading to PA for my baby shower and diaper party. My brothers are in charge of the diaper party, as you can tell by the flyer. (Justin and I do not drink at all, ever.)
It should be a fun and interesting weekend!
Today I had a check up. Everything looks good. His heartbeat was 145 beats per minute. My stomach is the right size. So, four more weeks until my next appt.
A couple days ago I finally had to take out my navel jewelry. My belly is just too damn big. It's not that I really cared to have it or was into the way it looked, it's just that I've had it for over ten years and it feels and looks weird not having it. My belly button is pretty deep. I wonder when it's going to turn inside out?

This past weekend we stayed in Burnsville, right outside of Asheville, NC. Justin's Mom and her husband have a little mountain house that we stay at. It was so nice to relax and not have a to-do-list. On saturday we went into Asheville to eat and walk around. The weather was perfect! I think it was around 78 degrees and breezy. It was a much needed break from the brutal Charlotte tempatures! Saturday night Justin built a fire and we cooked fake Chicken over the fire and made smores :)
Bateman had a great time! Even though we can't let him run loose outside, he still loves to explore and poop in new places.

On the 4th of July we spent 3 hours registering at Babies R Us! And, there are still a hand full of items that we need to add to our Target and Walmart registrys! Justin was very indecisive and was worried about picking the wrong things, ha. He also was very concerned about patterns and such.
This is a "Weeblock". We picked a couple of these. I'd rather not get pee in my eye.
We didn't see any fireworks this year. Instead we went to see a movie, "Away We Go". It was so cute and funny. It's about a couple pregnant with their first baby, traveling around to figure out where they should settle down. I highly recommend this
movie :)
